Vic
Tise is a consultant with CG AMERICAS (Consulting Group
of the Americas, LLC), an international business consulting
firm that advises government agencies and Fortune 1000
companies in Canada, Mexico, and the United States with
offices in Denver, Colorado and Mexico City, Mexico. Mr.
Tise manages CG AMERICAS Southern Colorado office.
Mr.
Tise serves as International Security Consultant and supervises
CG AMERICAS Southern Colorado Office serving Colorado Springs,
Pueblo, and Trinidad. He is an expert in corporate security
advising Fortune 500 corporations and mid-size enterprises
on intelligence and security operations including threat
assessments, physical safety for employees, and personal
security for business travelers. Mr. Tise is fluent in English
and Spanish and has conversational Portuguese language skills.
In
February 2000, Mr. Tise retired from the U.S. Army as a
Lieutenant Colonel after serving as a Military Intelligence
officer and Latin America Foreign Area officer for over
22 years. In the U.S. Army, he developed expertise in Tactical,
Joint, Combined and Interagency intelligence collections
and operations for conventional and non-conventional warfare
and counter-drug operations. In addition to working with
national level intelligence agencies, Mr. Tise trained the
national police, armed forces, and advised military and
civilian intelligence organizations in Central America,
South America, the Caribbean, Korea, Japan, and Thailand.
His last operational posting was Director of Information
and Intelligence for U.S. Forces and the United Nations
Mission in Haiti (June 1995 - March 1996).
In
his last assignment, Mr. Tise served as Assistant Professor
of Political Science and Senior Army Officer at the U.S.
Air Force Academy. At the Academy, he taught classes on
American Government, International Relations and served
as principal instructor for courses on Latin American Politics,
Intelligence and Politics, Managing Regional Conflict, Violence
and Terrorism.
Prior
to joining CG Americas, Mr. Tise served as a Senior Engineer
in the Americas Engineering Group of MCI-WorldCom. He project-managed
the launching of cross-border Asynchronous Transfer Mode
(ATM) services between MCI-WorldCom and Bell Canada. Mr.
Tise also developed operational service support procedures
for MCI-WorldCom's Global Data Link network throughout South
America and for a Network-to-Network Interface (NNI) connecting
WorldCom's International Frame Relay network with Brazil's
EMBRATEL.
A
native of New Mexico, Mr. Tise received a B.S. degree in
General Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy (USMA)
at West Point, New York in 1977. He received an M.A. degree
in International Relations - Latin America Studies from
the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1986.
